E-Filing Kiosk Solution Drives Access to Justice in North Carolina

The North Carolina (NC) Supreme Court mandated all lawyers do all their filings via E-filing, and Pro se litigants do their filings by E-filing or paper. This ruling created a significant challenge in providing efficient access to legal services for both attorneys and citizens across its 177 unique courts. With a diverse population spread across urban and rural areas, the court system needed a solution to simplify the filing of key legal documents and improve overall accessibility.
